Toronto family recovers $8.5 million for auto injuries in Fort Myers, Florida

A young wife and mother of two young children on vacation in Fort Myers, Florida was crushed by a pickup truck in front of her entire family as she was crossing the street. The driver admitted not to have seen her. The case was mediated and resolved in a $8,500,000 settlement with the defendant, after a $27 million arbitration award.
