Bernardo Pimentel II is a Trial Attorney with more than six years of litigation experience in both criminal and civil matters. He represents individuals who have been seriously injured as a result of negligence, including victims of automobile accidents, defective products, asbestos exposure, and other catastrophic incidents. He is admitted to practice in both Florida state and federal courts.

Before joining Leesfield & Partners, Mr. Pimentel was a Partner at Cole, Scott & Kissane, where he spent more than three years defending corporations and insurance interests throughout the state. Promoted to partner after just over a year with the firm, he gained valuable insight into defense strategies and litigation tactics. He now brings that experience to advocating exclusively for injured individuals, representing clients against the same types of corporations and insurers he once defended.

Prior to his defense practice, Mr. Pimentel served as an Assistant Public Defender for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit in Miami-Dade County, where he handled criminal cases from arrest through trial. Throughout his tenure, he earned a reputation for guiding clients through complex legal proceedings with clear communication, meticulous preparation, and strategic advocacy. Before joining the Public Defender’s Office, he was an Associate Attorney at the Law Offices of Pimentel & Castillo, where he began as a law clerk and focused on criminal defense, family law, and general civil litigation.

Mr. Pimentel earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 2017.
